Emily Daniell, MSN, PMHNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, CARN-AP
Emily Daniell is a founding member of Still Waters Wellness, where she
also serves as Medical Director and as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Emily specializes in the treatment of co-occurring mental health and
substance use disorders. With over a decade of experience in Addiction
Psychiatry, Emily is deeply committed to helping patients navigate their
recovery with compassion and evidence-based practices. Before
establishing Still Waters Wellness, Emily has served in a variety of
clinical and leadership roles.
Emily served as a nurse practitioner at the Lifespan Recovery Center,
specializing in addiction treatment. She has also been a dedicated
provider at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Providence since
2010, where she has worked in behavioral health and addiction recovery
and served as the lead registered nurse for its opiate treatment
program. Her extensive experience reflects a lifelong commitment to
advancing addiction recovery and mental health care.
Emily holds a master’s degree in nursing with an Adult-Gerontology Acute
Care Nurse Practitioner certification from Rhode Island College. She
later earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
certification from Herzing University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is an
associate member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a
scholar with the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation,
underscoring her dedication to improving health outcomes at both
individual and systemic levels.
Emily’s passion for patient-centered care, combined with her clinical
expertise, makes her an invaluable leader and advocate within the
Still Waters Wellness team and the broader mental health and
addiction recovery community. |
