Some examples of MAT:

Buprenorphine
A medication used in the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). It helps decrease cravings and withdrawal symptoms while blocking the effects of other opioids, supporting sustained recovery. Oral buprenorphine is typically administered sublingually (under the tongue) in the form of a film or tablet. It is often prescribed as a combination product with naloxone.

Sublocade and Brixadi
Extended-release, injectable forms of buprenorphine used for the treatment of OUD. These once-monthly injections provide consistent medication levels, reduce the need for daily dosing, and support long-term recovery by improving adherence and convenience.

Vivitrol
